The Board of Directors of the Printability and Graphic Communications Institute (ICI) announces the appointment of Chloé Bois as general manager and of Laurette Vieille-Grosjean as Assistant General Manager and Manager of the Consultation and Industrial Research Service.

“For over 23 years, André Dion has successfully and dynamically led the Institute. He will take a well-deserved retirement in September. In this context, the ICI Board of Directors has appointed Chloé Bois to ensure his succession. Ms. Bois has been part of the ICI team since 2014 and has held the position of R&D Manager since 2016. She also holds the NSERC Industrial Research Chair for Colleges in Functional Printed Applications Manufacturing at College Ahuntsic, Ms. Vieille-Grosjean, will occupy the position of Assistant General Manager and Manager of the Consultation and Industrial Research Service. She has been a part of the ICI team since 2010 and has been Manager of Operations since 2016, ” explains Donald Caron, President of the ICI Board of Directors.

“Ms. Bois and Ms. Vieille-Grosjean assume their new role since August 17th to ensure that projects are properly transferred before André’s departure. I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for all these years in the industry and for his involvement in the success of the Institute, ” adds Mr. Caron.

Nathalie Vallée, general manager of Ahuntsic College, adds “it is certain that the College will continue to support its Technology Transfer Center, ICI, in the pursuit of its innovative mandates and support for the Industry. We welcome the arrival of Mss. Bois and Vielle-Grosjean to the general management. ”

“I am happy to take over with the team in place! The current pandemic context is pushing us to reinvent ourselves to continue to support college education and meet the needs of our industrial partners, ” says Ms. Bois.

“It was with great pleasure that I agreed to support Chloé Bois. We have established a great collaboration for 4 years now to develop our services in consulting and research to meet the needs of the industry, and I am proud to continue to promote and bring the ICI to the next level with Chloé and the whole team of the institute ” adds Ms. Vieille-Grosjean.
