Privacy policy
The Printability and Graphic Communications Institute (ICI) takes all necessary precautions to ensure the confidentiality of the personal information entrusted to it and acts in accordance with the Act respecting access to documents held by public bodies and protection of personal information.

What you need to know…
When accessing the ICI website, information is automatically exchanged between the site’s server and users’ computers, without the users having to intervene. However, this information does not include personal information. Only the following information is transmitted to ensure the compatibility of the files exchanged:

  • Internet domain name and IP * address or website address from which the ICI site was accessed;
  • The type of browser and operating system used;
  • The date and time of access;
  • The different pages visited.

Remarketing is used in carrying out advertising campaigns aimed at targeting the interests of users where third party vendors, including Google, serve our ads on websites. ICI and third-party providers, including Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) in parallel to obtain information, and to optimize and distribute announcements based on the sessions performed on the site by an Internet user.
* An IP address consists of a numeric code that uniquely identifies a computer connected to the Internet network and allows its location.

Use for technological and statistical purposes
Only the information enabling it to count the number of visitors to its website, the most visited pages, the technology used, the referral sites and the country of origin of Internet users is kept by the ICI. This information is only collected for technological reasons inherent in Internet browsing and is only used for statistical purposes. No personally identifiable information about users of its website is transmitted to ICI.

Transmission of personal information
Personal information collected by the ICI is processed in accordance with the Act respecting access to documents held by public bodies and the protection of personal information. In accordance with the requirements of the Act, only the information necessary to respond to a user’s message and follow it up is used among the personal information sent to the ICI by means of an electronic form or an email. In addition, no personal information transmitted to ICI is communicated to any other government agency, unless the request is made to that agency or such communication is required by law. In no case will the information transmitted be used to draw up user profiles or be transmitted to a private body.
